Krum was the surname of a Bulgarian wizarding family. Their blood status is unknown, although their heritage is most likely to have been more magical than muggle.[1]

Etymology[]
Krum of Bulgaria was a ninth-century ruler of Bulgaria who greatly expanded his country's territory and who instituted the first known written Bulgarian law code giving state protection to the poor. Krum is a given name of Bulgar origin and is not used as a surname.
