- — Albus Dumbledore asking Horace Slughorn[src]
Knitter's Own was a Muggle magazine which focused on the craft of knitting, published by the Knitting Club. In 1996, Albus Dumbledore found a copy of this magazine in the Muggle-owned house in Budleigh Babberton in which Horace Slughorn was hiding, and asked Horace if he could borrow it, although it technically wasn't Horace's to lend.
The magazine offered people 27 scrumptious patterns, a step-by-step crochet guide to classic and contemporary looks, many perfect gift ideas, a free Crochet hook, a chance to win £100 worth of the yarn of the season, and a "expert tip of the month" on how to make cosy socks to the whole family.
Behind the scenes
- The magazine was created entirely for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film, as there is no real world Knitter's Own magazine.
