Kikis Trecus was a witch or wizard who worked as a reporter for the Daily Prophet. Trecus wrote an article about the upcoming final match of the 1994 Quidditch World Cup, titled "Thousands of Supporters are Expected to Attend the Final Game", in the summer of 1994.[1]
