The Kenmare Kestrels are a Quidditch team from Ireland. The team was founded in 1291. They have leprechauns as mascots.Their fans also sometimes play the harp at matches. Their robes are emerald-green with two yellow 'K's back to back on the chest. Darren O'Hare, Kestrel Keeper 1947-1960, captained the Irish National Team 3 times and is credited with the invention of the Chaser Hawkshead Attacking Formation. Seamus Finnigan is probably a fan of them as he is mentioned to have a Kenmare Kestrels poster beside his bed in Gryffindor Tower.
