Changes: Hogwarts gamekeeper

The Keeper of Keys and Grounds (also known as the gamekeeper or groundskeeper) is a wizard employed by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to tend to and look after the grounds of the school, as well as the security of Hogwarts Castle.

Duties

The Hogwarts gamekeeper had many duties, including:

Looking after the school's keys.
Escorting first year students on the boats to the castle.
Tending to the gardens at Hogwarts. ^[2]
Performing special tasks for the Headmaster and Professors at the school.
Looking after magical beasts on the school grounds.
Tending to matters in the Forbidden Forest.
Bringing the twelve Christmas trees into the Great Hall during December.
Defrosting the school brooms during winter.
Looking out for the pupils in the grounds
Attending feasts at the gratehall

Known Hogwarts Gamekeepers

Ogg — 1949 or earlier until 1957 or later. ^[3]
Rubeus Hagrid — 1990 or earlier until 1998 or later.

Appearances

Hagridtree — Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid bringing in a tree to Hogwarts Castle for Christmas in 1991.
