Julianne Hough (born 20 July 1988) is an American actress who portrayed a Gryffindor student in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.^[1]

Hough is one of the few American actors who have appeared in the Harry Potter films. Her brother, Derek Hough, also appeared in Philosopher's Stone. She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is also a country music singer and professional dancer. She was a pro dancer on "Dancing with the Stars" where she has won two times. She dated Ryan Seacrest until mid-March 2013.
