Josefina Calderon was a 17th-century Mexican witch and Healer who became the wife of Chadwick Boot, one of the founders of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1]
The couple established the Calderon-Boot family, which remains one of America's most prominent wizarding families today.[1]
Etymology
Josefina is a spanish name meaning "made bigger by god".
While Calderón is a real surname, it was probably picked because of its similarity with "caldero", meaning "cauldron".
