Jorkins is the surname of a wizarding family. As Bertha Jorkins had relatives living in Albania, it is possible that the family had roots in that region, or that members of the family moved there from Britain.

Joseph Jorkens is the central character in a series of short stories written by Lord Dunsany. Mr. Jorkins is a lawyer in the novel David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.
