- — Vernon Dursley telling jokes to Mr Mason[src]
This joke was about two plumbers who found themselves in a flooded building. It was told by Vernon Dursley to Mr Mason and his wife during a dinner party in 1992. However, Vernon was interrupted by noises from upstairs, which were caused by the house-elf Dobby.[1]
Behind the scenes
- In the novel, it is Mr Mason who has a story about American plumbers that Petunia Dursley claims she has been dying to hear.[2] As such, this joke seems to be a replacement in the film, and as such cannot be considered canon.
