"Did you hear about the Squib who won a million Galleons and asked for it all in small change? Yeah... he was completely Knuts!"
Comedic Female Gargoyle[src]

There was a joke about a Squib who won a million Galleons and asked for it all in small change. The joke is a play on the words "Knut" (the less valuable wizarding coin) and "nut" (used to refer to a mad individual). The Comedic Female Gargoyle used to tell this joke to those who passed by her.[1]

Behind the scenes

  • In the German version, the joke ends differently, saying that the Squib's name was Knut. This is based Knut being both the name of the wizarding coin and a male given name in Germany, though pronounced different then in the English version.
