Jim McGuffin was a Muggle television weatherman in 1981, working alongside Ted. He expressed his surprise at a downpour of shooting stars rather than the rain he predicted the day after the downfall of Lord Voldemort.
Behind the scenes
- An unidentified TV weatherman appeared in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. He may have been Jim, but this is not confirmed.
