Jennifer Smith portrayed Lavender Brown in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban^[1]. It was a non-speaking role, and she appeared as one of the Gryffindor students gathered around Harry Potter's hospital wing bed in the aftermath of the Gryffindor-Hufflepuff Quidditch match, in addition to appearances in several other scenes. However, the character was re-cast, and Jessie Cave played the part in the sixth film, Half-Blood Prince and will again reprise her role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.^[2]
