Jason Isaacs (born June 6, 1963) plays Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. Isaacs has appeared as Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (film), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (film), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (film) and will appear in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (film), parts one and two.
Far from being the evil, twisted character whom he plays in the film, Jason is nothing like that in real life. He is currently married and has two daughters, Lily and Ruby.
Isaacs watched Tom Felton's performance as Draco Malfoy in the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, in order to understand how he should play Draco's father.
