J.K. Rowling: A Year in the Life is a documentary filmed by James Runcie. The film follows J. K. Rowling over the course of a year as she completes work on the last Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
The documentary also includes extensive interviews with Rowling, as well as clips of her promoting Deathly Hallows and at the launch.
The documentary was screened in the United Kingdom on Sunday 30th, December 2007, on channel ITV and on Seven Network in Australia on the 13th of July, 2008. It was also aired on the ABC Television Network in America on Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 8-9pm (ET), the weekend of the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (film).[1]

- J.K. Rowling provides a quick sketch of the Weasley family tree, including all the marriages and grandchildren not mentioned in the Epilogue of Deathly Hallows. She also includes Luna Lovegood's marriage to Rolf Scamander, and both James and Lily get middle names - Sirius and Luna respectively. She later placed this tree in the Room of Requirement section of her official website, where it was updated to include Draco Malfoy's marriage to Astoria Greengrass, and gives their son, Scorpius a middle name - Hyperion.
