Islam is a religion similar in nature to Christianity in that its practitioners, called Muslims, worship God (generally referred to as Allah). However, unlike Christians, Muslims have the Qur'an as their holy book rather than the Bible and consider Muhammad as their central prophet rather than Jesus Christ.
In more modern times, some Muslims have created extremist groups dedicated to returning to what they feel are the "fundamentals" of Islam. Due to the methods they use to achieve this, they are often considered terrorist cells by Western nations. One such group like this was Al-Hiraza, a fundamentalist cell suspected by the British government, ignorant of the real culprits, to be behind the collapse of the Millennium Bridge in 1996.
