Isabel Maria Fernandes Nunes (b. 1953) is one of the translators of the Harry Potter series written by J. K. Rowling into Portuguese. She was part of the translation team for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and was the translation coordinator for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. She also translated Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
A former English and German teacher in Abrantes, Isabel Nunes is currently a literary revisor, translating only juvenile literature.
