Isabel Fraga (b. August, 1950) is a Portuguese poet, author and translator. She was one of the translators of the Harry Potter books written by J. K. Rowling into Portuguese, for the Editorial Presença publishing house. She translated the first three books of the series by herself, and was part of the translation team of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. She has also translated Erich Fromm, Antonio Soler, Juan Goytisolo, Francis Bryan, Patricia Cornwell, Minette Walters, Cesar Vidal, Joanne Harris, among others.
