Indira Choudry was an English witch who played as a Beater for the English National Quidditch team.

During the 1996–1997 school year, Choudry's Chocolate Frog Card could be won by beating Gareth Pewsey in a Gobstones challenge.[1]

"Indira" means "beauty" and "splendid" in Sanskrit. This is another name of Lakshmi, the wife of the Hindu god Vishnu. A notable bearer was Indira's first female prime minister, Indira Gandhi (1917-1984).
