Igor Brand was a German wizard who played as a Chaser on the German National Quidditch team during the four-hundred and twenty-second Quidditch World Cup, in 1994.
Etymology
"Igor" is a Russian form of Ingvarr. It was brought to Russia by the Varangians in the 10th century. This name was borne by Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971), a Russian composer whose most famous work is The Rite of Spring.
