Ian van Laanen is a Dutch illustrator and artist. She made the covers for the Dutch translations of the Harry Potter books, which are published jointly by Uitgeverij De Harmonie and Standaard Uitgeverij; the covers were designed by Anne Lammers.
Van Laanen uses both traditional and digital media in creating her art.
J. K. Rowling has said that the Dutch covers of the Harry Potter books were her favourite.[1]
