Idris Oakby (1872—1985) was the founder of the Society for the Support of Squibs.
Biography
Early Life
Idris Oakby was born in 1872 into parents of unknown blood status. She either was home schooled by her parents or attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry which she would of attended from 1883 to 1890. There is also a possibity that she may be a Squib in which case she would not have attended Hogwarts. If she was a Witch, she presumably purchased her wand from the Ollivander family when she was eleven.

The name "Idris" means "ardent lord" from Welsh udd, "lord, prince" combined with ris, "ardent", "enthusiastic", "impulsive".
