The Hyslop mansion was the residence of the Hyslop twin sisters, Syna and Helixa.

The twins were reclusive, and lived alone together in this mansion their whole lives. It was in this mansion that they developed the Doubling Charm. After their deaths, their relatives discovered that there were two identical copies of everything in their home, right down to the set of hand-written instructions for the Doubling Charm that they each left on one of the pair of matching tables in the kitchen.^[1]
