The horn tongue hex was a spell that turned the target's tongue into a horn. Harry Potter came across it while perusing the index of Basic Hexes for the Busy and Vexed in search of a way to overcome the dragon he knew he would have to face in the First Task of the Triwizard Tournament. He quickly ruled it out, however, realizing it would only give the dragon yet another way to attack him.
