Hex-a-Gone was a product designed to provide protection against the Dark Arts. It was made of Dehoff's patented bimetal alchemical thread, which made it effective as it is invisible to Dark Wizards. However, the Hex-a-Gone ad from the Daily Prophet warned that users of the product had to follow the manufacturer's "extremely complicated and laborious instructions", or it could result in unintended home hexidents.
