Biography

Hestia Carrow Slug Club Christmas Party

Hestia at the Slug Club Christmas party.

Hestia, along with Flora, was sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven, and became members of the Slug Club during the 1996–1997 school year.[3]

She and her sister were generally quiet at Slug Club meetings, and both had a fondness for the colour green, which they wore not only as part of their House robes, but by choice, as reflected by the formal dresses they wore to the Slug Club Christmas party.

Flora and Hestia

The twins at the Great Hall.

At the start of The Battle of Hogwarts she and her sister were seen departing to the Dungeons. It is unknown if she survived the battle.

Etymology

Both Carrow girls were named after Greek goddesses. As both goddesses represent good things - the hearth, flowers, spring, home, family - it may be implied that they are nice people, and thus proving that not all Slytherins fit the House's negative stereotype.
