Hedwig (b. prior to 1900) was a historical wizard or witch. Featured in A History of Magic, this wizard was the namesake for Harry Potter's pet owl. [2]
Behind the scenes
- This wizard or witch is possibly a saint, due to the fact that a Saint Hedwig was the real life namesake of the owl Hedwig.
- As Hedwig is a German female name, it is possible that Hedwig was a German witch.
