The Hebrides Islands are a large group of islands located northwest of mainland Scotland.^[1] These islands are the native habitat of the Hebridean Black, a dragon breed which is tended by the wizarding MacFusty clan, who have lived in the region for hundreds of years.

The Pride of Portree, a Quidditch team, was founded on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides in 1292, presumably in the town of Portree.
