A portrait of a group of Healers.

Harry: "Are they doctors?"
Ron: "Doctors? Those Muggle nutters that cut people up? Nah, they're Healers."
Harry and Ron.[src]

A Healer is the wizarding world equivalent of a Muggle doctor. They tend to the sick and injured at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. To become a Healer, you have to achieve a high mark of either 'Exceeds Expectations' or 'Outstanding' at N.E.W.T. Potions, Transfiguration, Herbology, Charms, and Defence Against the Dark Arts.
