This wand was ten and half inches long, made of hawthorn with a dragon heartstring core, and was "springy". It was created by Garrick Ollivander sometime prior to 31 July, 1991. He offered it to Harry Potter when he was picking out his first wand, but the wand and the wizard were not compatible.

Behind the scenesEdit

• This wand is rather similar to Draco Malfoy's wand, though with a different core and a half an inch longer. Harry would later be in possession and mastery of Draco's wand for a brief period of time in 1998.
