What is Harry Potter to me?
I've been reading the Harry Potter books since the Philosophers Stone was released. I've read all seven books in numerical order over a dozen times, actually, I'm just reading through The Deathly Hallows again now. Whenever I'm bored, and my Xbox or computer doesn't provide the needed amount of fun, I'll always pick up a Harry Potter book. I've never enjoyed a series of books so much.
The Potter universe, for me, is a second home. I'm there a lot of the time. I love being there. When I read the books, the real world seems to just fade out, and all that exists is the book and I. Believe it or not, it's helped me through a lot of tricky, if not awkward situations. It takes me from my current mindset, and places me in the common room, or the tent, or the burrow, wherever Harry, Ron and Hermione are. I read for hours upon end.
Nothing, in my opinion, could be better than the Harry Potter books. It's my second life. It's everything I want. It's heaven.
