Severus Snape (4 votes for, 2 against) (First nomination)
Not promoted - There's potential here, but it still needs work. I would suggest a community driven rewrite using a subpage. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 08:26, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Support- There's the merging problem, but I think it is well written -Matoro183 (Talk) 22:15, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Against - Not until its merged. -- DarkJedi613 (Talk) 23:21, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
- Support: I've merged the articles, and redirected "Half-Blood Prince." I think it's good to go. -- Cubs Fan2007 00:30, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
- Against - Its still in a mess and also needs merging...Cometstyles 14:18, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
- Support - It's good to go.-- Freakatone 22:28, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Support - It's good as is, but I think it could use a bit of tweaking, particularly in the "Magical abilities and skills" section. Two things that I noticed that are missing which are present in other Featured Articles are sections on appearance and personality. -Starstuff 14:30, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
- I added those two sections, though I'm having some trouble merging the list of his abilities into prose for the "traits" portion; if you guys can help, that would be great. The "personality" section is so-so, but "traits" could use some expansion. -- Cubs Fan2007 06:13, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Severus Snape (re-nomination) (8 votes for, 0 against)
- Support: Headmaster in Deathly Hallows, DADA in Half-Blood Prince and the Potions in other books. Timothyhouse1 08:43, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support: I think it's ready to be featured. Me_Potter_Fan (Talk) 10:48, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support: Nice quotes, images, and references. I also added the expanded relationships section from the (now pretty much dead) Project Greasy Git. -- Freakatone Talk 11:25, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support One of the bravest / most important characters in the book. Great article, needs to be featured. ^^ HPguru 08:36, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support: Very good relationship section.Xtraii
Oppose: I will support this article if the BtS can include that Tim Roth was offered the role before Alan Rickman was casted, but Roth could not combine it with his work in Planet of the Apes (2001, Tim Burton). I would edit it myself, but I don't like to edit other people's nominations. --Skippy Farlstendoiro 08:53, 15 September 2008 (UTC)- Support: Okey, it's added and, as I said, I now support the article. If I can do it after so few edits. ----Skippy Farlstendoiro 06:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support: I think the biography section could still use a bit of work, but overall, I think it's ready.

Oppose: I think the time line feels wierd, we learn everything about Snape in the same order as in the books but I think we should learn them as they happened to him. (First Dumbledore convices him to kill him, then he makes the wow, then he kills him. Not: he makes the wow, he kills him, then we find out it was already decided.) Thats how we learn about the other characters, and I know it's different with Snape because we didn't find out, for sure, until the wery end if he was good or bad, but it would be more interesting to have everything told, as it happened to him. This is about him, right?
