The Harry Potter Alliance is an activist group dedicated to raising awareness on topics such as global warming, poverty, and genocide. The group has given particular focus to the conflicts in Darfur and Rwanda.

Wrock the VoteEdit

Wizard Rock the Vote was a collaborative effort by the HP Alliance and several Wrock bands to encourage voter turnout. Participating bands included Harry and the Potters, The Remus Lupins, Catchlove, The Whomping Willows, Roonil Wazlib, The Parselmouths, Draco and the Malfoys, The Moaning Myrtles, Ginny and the Heartbreakers, Creevey Crisis, Gred and Forge, The Hungarian Horntails, and others.
