These letters were written by Harry Potter on 2 August, 1995 to Sirius Black, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, following his attack by dementors. He wrote the same thing on each letter and ordered his owl, Hedwig, to peck them "until they've written decent-length answers" if she had to.[2]
