Harriet is best known as Carole in the BBC's popular Brittas Empire and Fleur in Absolutely Fabulous. More recently, she appeared as Madame Morrible in Wicked (Apollo Victoria), opposite Jason Donovan as Mrs Lovett in John Doyle’s Sweeney Todd (TMA Awards Best Supporting Performance in a Musical nomination) and as Fraulein Kost in Rufus Norris's production of Cabaret (West End).
