Harmonia Nectere Passus is a spell used to perfect a Vanishing Cabinet's performance.

Draco Malfoy used this spell on the broken Vanishing Cabinet in the Room of Requirement as he was attempting to repair it during the 1996–1997 school year.[1]

Etymology

Harmonia Nectere Passus derives from the Latin word "harmonia", meaning "harmony",[2] the Latin word "nectere" which means "to tie, bind"[3], and the Latin term "passus" meaning "step, pace", which came from "pati" meaning "suffer, allow, undergo"[4]. Effectively, the entire phrase comes out to mean "Allow(ing) to bind the harmony." Basically, binding the rift between the sister Vanishing Cabinets.
