Harfang Longbottom (fl. 20th centuy) was a pure-blood wizard who married Callidora Black. The couple had two children, a son and a daughter.[1] Harfang may be related to Frank and Neville Longbottom.

Etymology

The name Harfang may be derived from Harfang des neiges, a French term for "snowy owl."[2] In The Silver Chair, the sixth book in the The Chronicles of Narnia series by C.S. Lewis, Harfang is a city of giants in the far north.

Longbottom is the name of one of the Hobbits' villages at the Shire, known for its best pipe-weed.
