Hairy Snout, Human Heart was a book written by an anonymous author. It was known to be a "heartrending" (in Albus Dumbledore's opinion) account of one wizard's struggle against lycanthropy. It was published by Whizz Hard Books in 1975.

Dumbledore mentioned Hairy Snout, Human Heart in his commentary on The Warlock's Hairy Heart, and remarks that it should not be confused with The Hairy Heart: A Guide to Wizards Who Won't Commit, a bestselling self-help book.
