- — Description[src]
Gurdyroot Infusion[citation needed] was a foul-tasting beverage concocted from the Gurdyroot plant[1]. As deeply purple in colour as beetroot juice, it was said that this drink tasted like bogeys[2].
Shortly before the Ambush at the Lovegood House on 31 December, 1998, Xenophilius offered this drink to Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley when they came to visit[1]. All three drank, and shared the opinion that it tasted disgusting; indeed, Harry could only compare it to liquidised bogey-flavoured Every-Flavour Beans[2].
