A Gulping Plimpy supposedly is a breed of Plimpy, that is repelled by Gurdyroots. The Gulping Plimpy is one of the many strange creatures that Luna Lovegood believes exists though not many others do. Luna was once claimed to be fishing plimpies by her father, Xenophilius when she was meanwhile being held prisoner at Malfoy Manor. The breed of Plimpy can also be made into Plimpy Soup, which tastes very lovely and nice to eat. Xenophilius claims that everybody wants the recipe.
