Grumble the Grubby Goat was a story told to wizarding children. It was Aberforth Dumbledore's favourite tale, which concerned with a goat called Grumble that attracted flies. Aberforth and his brother, Albus, would get into frequent arguments regarding reading this tale at bedtime, with Albus' favourite tale which was The Tale of the Three Brothers.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
- This story is only mentioned in Dumbledore's notes in the real version of Beedle's Tales. It does not appear in the in-universe version of Beedle's Tales, however it might also be from another collection of wizarding, or even Muggle, children's tales.
