Great Wizarding Events of the Twentieth Century was a book about prominent events in the wizarding world during the 20th century. Harry Potter's first defeat of Lord Voldemort was mentioned in this book.[2][3]
History[]
Hermione Granger read this book before meeting Harry Potter in person on 1 September 1991 when on the Hogwarts Express, on their way to begin their magical education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[2] Professor Binns had a copy in his classroom in Hogwarts Castle.[3]
