A grape is a fruit that grows on woody vines of the genus Vitis.^[1] When Colin Creevey was found petrified in 1992, there was a bunch of grapes beside him, presumably indicating he took a snack with him when he tried to sneak into the Hospital Wing to get a picture of Harry Potter.^[2] Wine is typically made of fermented grape juice. A raisin is a dried grape.
