Goshawk was the surname of a wizarding family. It is unknown whether the Goshawks were pure-blood or had any Muggle heritage.[1]
By the early 20th century, the Goshawks were relatively impoverished, and youngsters, like Miranda Goshawk, had to resort to "embarrassing" hand-me-down robes.[1]
