Goblin-made ironwork was iron made and enchanted by goblins, presumably in a similar manner as goblin's silver. The Firebolt used goblin-made ironwork in its metal parts, including footrests, stand, and twig bands. The exact benefits that use of this metal provide is unclear, but it was believed to have provided great power and stability in adverse weather conditions, and the iron prevented slippage, making it ideal for the footgrips. Production of goblin-made ironwork was limited, however, as the goblins involved in making it were prone to strikes and walkouts.[1]
