Glisseo is a spell that causes the treads of stairs to flatten, turning the stairs into a slide.
Etymology
From French Glisser, meaning "to slip/slide".
History of use
Hermione Granger used this spell to turn a staircase into a slide during the Battle of Hogwarts so that she, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley could avoid attacking Death Eaters.
Possible uses
- It is most likely that this is also the spell transforms the stairs of the girls dormitories at Hogwarts to prevent boys from entering, as the effects (when a boy tries to walk up the girls' stairs) are exactly the same.
