Glamchops was a Muggle company that sold cosmetics. Among their range of products was Glamchops Lemongrass Hand Lotion and Glamchops Moisturiser, both of which Hermione Granger used.^[1]

Glamchops also ran a website, www.glamchops.com, where one could buy new make-up collections that were not available elsewhere. An advertisement for the site appeared on the side of a double decker bus in London in 1993.

Behind the scenesEdit

• Although there were websites in 1994 (Amazon.com^[2] and Yahoo!^[3] were both founded that year), the Internet did not become widely popular until later in the decade.^[4] This makes the appearance of an ad for a website in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which is set in 1993, somewhat anachronistic.
