Ginny Weasley's bedroom is where she used to sleep while at the Burrow and before marrying Harry Potter. It is located on the first floor landing of her very tall house.

It is described as small, but with a good view of the garden in which Harry, Ginny, Hermione, and Ron had played Quidditch many times. It is also vaguely described as having a poster of Gwenog Jones, the Beater for the Holyhead Harpies, a team that Ginny herself would play on in the future, before giving birth to her son. It also has a poster of the Weird Sisters, a popular band in the Wizarding World.

Ginny's room

The bedroom is located in the first floor of the Burrow.

Location

Ginny's room was on the first-floor landing of the Burrow. It is right above the kitchen and below her older brothers Fred and George Weasley's bedroom.

History

In 1992, after Harry came to the Burrow to stay for the remainder of the school holidays after being rescued by his friends Ron, Fred and George, he had another brief encounter with Ginny. After seeing Harry, Ginny retreated to her bedroom and stared at Harry as he passed by her door. She stayed in her room for most of the rest of the holidays.

On 31 July, 1997, Harry Potter celebrated his seventeenth birthday at The Burrow. Ginny took Harry into her bedroom; this is the first time Harry ever sees the inside of her room. It has posters of Gwenog Jones, captain of the all-female Quidditch team the Holyhead Harpies and the Weird Sisters, a popular Wizarding band on two of the walls. Ginny and Harry share a passionate kiss, which was interrupted by Ron, Ginny's older brother. Ron scolded Harry, telling him not to "mess her around." Harry was angry with Ron, as he loved Ginny, but could not share a relationship with her because he knew that if Voldemort learned of their love, Ginny would be targeted by him.

Whenever Hermione Granger, Harry and Ron's best friend, visited the Burrow, she slept in Ginny's bedroom.

After marrying Harry Potter, it is likely that Ginny no longer lived in the Burrow. It very likely she did come back to visit her family, and when she did, she would be likely to stay in her room.
