The two Mses. Lockhart were the older Muggle sisters of Gilderoy Lockhart, former celebrity and Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.[1]
Behind the scenes
- On an old version of her website, JK Rowling said that a non-magical person born to a wizarding parent is a Squib. Pottermore, however, refers to the Lockhart sisters, who have a witch mother, as Muggles. (Although it's more likely a mistake, since people with wizarding ancestry cannot be muggles. So that would make his sister's squibs.)
