Gilderoy Lockhart's Guide to Household Pests is one of the many books written by Gilderoy Lockhart. It includes advisement on how to get rid of household pests. It can be assumed that Gilderoy Lockhart is not the real author, although the real author is never identified. Interestingly enough, although the subject of this book is on house care, the front cover features Gilderoy Lockhart instead, a sign of his vanity.
Molly Weasley uses it to find instructions on how to get rid of the Doxys in the curtains in 12 Grimmauld Place, and at The Burrow, to help Fred, George, Ron and Harry to get rid of the Gnomes in The Burrow's garden, but the twins say that they already know without the help of the book.
