Two young German children and their mother were murdered with the Killing Curse by Lord Voldemort on 1 September, 1997. Voldemort had come to the family's home looking for the wandmaker Gregorovitch. It is unknown if they were related to Gregorovitch or simply moved into the house after he left.[1]
Harry Potter was forced to witness the deaths of the children and their mother due to his connection with Voldemort.[1]
